The Neilpryde UXT mast extension system allows us to use a continuous diameter all the way down.
The outer diameter of the upper mast cap is larger than the diameter of the extension tube. This, combined with the stepped collar of the Clamshell, creates a cavity thus preventing the carbon mast and alloy tube to be in contact, preventing oxidation and corrosion.
