The new Wingboard range takes design inspiration from our high-performance SUP foil boards and Olympic class Windsurf foil boards – combining the speed and efficiency of foiling with the power of the wind. The aim of the Wingboard Foil is to give you maximum performance in a small size while catering to your level, from beginner to expert.

THE SHAPE
To get started we need stability and since volume works on leverage, the further away the volume is from your feet, the more stability it creates. We placed the volume in the rails, at the square nose and at the little “platform” at the tail of the board. Stability is also created by having the feet as close to the foil as possible. We do not want to foil with “High Heels”, so the thinner a board is, the better it rides.

RECESSED DECK
Significantly improves stability as you have a lower center of gravity. It also brings you closer to the foil for more control when up and riding.

BOXY RAILS
Pack the volume where you need it, increasing the float and stability so you can ride a narrower and shorter board.

ROUND NOSE
Makes it incredibly forgiving on touch downs as the nose bounces and skims off the large surface area, not sticking and slowing you down.

DRAINAGE CHANNELS
At the tail of the board lets the water drain out immediately once foiling.

Introducing the Vyper Designed by Adam Bennetts & Clifford Coetzer in search of the ultimate all-around surf foil, the Vyper was born. A cross between the Vortex and the Hyper. We took the best attributes of each model. The carve and ease of turning of the Vortex, and the ease of pump and efficiency of the Hyper.

After many prototypes, and many hours of testing various aspects of the foil by our top team riders Adam Bennetts and Dylan Wichmann, everything from the wingspan to the thickness of the foil was experimented with, until the best setup for speed, glide, and performance was chosen.

A span that is wide enough to create enough lift, but not too wide to make turning difficult. Just enough down-sweep on the tips to loosen the foil up, but not lose efficiency. Just enough thickness in the profile to generate lift, but not create too much drag.

The Aero Free covers all disciplines for advanced Wing Foilers and works well for Prone, SUP and Windsurf-Foiling. The name takes it away, this wing isn’t bound to a specific discipline, it feels at home in any water state and with every rider – whether you’re into Freeride, Freestyle, Freerace, Surf or Downwind. 2023 Duotone Unit wind wing for foilboarding. With the new Unit 2023 we are starting a new era of wing design. Featuring MOD3, a new canopy that changes everything!

The latest edition Unit offers more power, better hang time and improved drift stability. From the first pump, you’ll notice the additional power MOD3 brings to the wing. With responsive handling through the rigid handles. The 2023 Unit gets you up in flight mode sooner, with an improved grunt and low end allowing you to use smaller-sized wings. The higher modulus MOD3 fabric holds the shape of the wing with double the strength in warp direction and 3 times* the stretch resistance in bias direction compared to traditional canopies. The small gain in weight becomes secondary once you feel the power, draft stability, and wide range of the new Unit.

MOD3 remains fresh like its day one and significantly improves the tear resistance and canopy strength. But it’s not only the canopy that makes the 2023 Unit our best wing to date. We’ve optimized the dihedral angle, as well as the tip and strut twist for better drift stability when surfing or flying through basic maneuvers. The 2023 Nova has a structurally balanced freeride shape for enhanced aerodynamic performance. Engineered for stability in gusty winds, the new Nova has a progressive swept outline and refined profile section, making it easier to handle and more stable when riding. Your front and back arm pressure is even, not backhand-heavy.

The wing creates lift so that you can glide through turns effortlessly without any tail drop. Precise yet compliant. The wingtip geometry and balanced dihedral also prevent oscillation side-toside when gripping the front handle, riding downwind swell, surfing, or simply walking towards the water. With a sweet spot so generous, it makes hard things easy.

The new draft-forward curvature in the profile section generates more lift in the front of the wing. This makes transitions smoother and, when combined with improved canopy tensioning, boosts Nova’s low-end power. So much so you can drop down a size. We’ve minimised flutter and created a clean trailing edge release with reduced drag. The Sky Free is the quintessential board range for anyone - from newbie to experienced freeride winger!

Building on the success of the Sky Wing range, the Sky Free comes with multiple design and construction updates and is offered in a multitude of sizes ranging from 95l to 130l. With an early planing rocker line and balanced and stable floating character the Sky Free is easy to get onto, bring up to speed and into foiling mode for less experienced riders and even for newbies in the larger sizes.

Experienced wingers will love the smaller Sky Free models for their light wind abilities. The new feature of moderate rail bevels helps to pump the board out of the water more easily and reduces drag through more parallel bottom contours for incredibly early starts.

The new rail bevels on the Sky Style shapes add higher clearance during tight turns on the wave face and improve the ability to pump these boards out of the water with an easier release. More parallel bottom contours throughout the mid-section improve the glide to pick up speed for take-off and reduce drag after landings and touch-downs to pop back up instantly.

The Sky Free SLS is a very popular model amongst ambitious wingers in lighter wind conditions. For 2024 our design team implemented slight rail bevels, which not only give the rails more clearance in tight gybes, tacks or carves in small waves, the bottom contours also follow a more parallel outline through the mid-section improving the glide and making the pumping of the board out and up onto the foil even easier.

The deck recess and high-volume nose offer great stability during starts, landings or when not in flight-mode. The Aero Glide range is complementing Duotone's portfolio with highly efficient high aspect designs, offering endless glide, downwind performance and pumping abilities, crossed with a lively and fun manoeuvrability you wouldn't expect from wings with such span.

As the name suggests - the Aero Glide is made to glide for long distances effortlessly. The four smaller sizes from the fast and agile 725 to the larger 1305 were introduced in spring 2023 with an incredible response for their mix of accessible glide performance, control and manoeuvrability. All these wings come in aspect ratio around 9.5. With emphasis on efficiency, speed and low drag these wings like to be ridden with a slightly more active riding style that suits the level of intermediate to advanced riders. Once on flight mode, the Aero Glide wings are very intuitive to ride thanks to their predictable behavior.

For 2024 Duotone are adding two large siblings to the family of the Aero Glide, the 130cm wide 1595 with an AR of 10.6 and the pumping oriented 2145, with a span of 143cm and AR of 9.6.

The 1595 is the perfect match for everyone getting into downwinders. This wing will help you getting up and connect even the smallest bumps, due to its insane glide. The 1595 still has the same fast and low drag profile and overall character of the smaller Glide wings and works great for light wind winging and pumping.

As a pure dock-starter wing Duotone have developed the 2145 with a thicker profile and its own outline, with very low stall speed for the easiest possible dock starts and pumping experience in flatwater conditions for any level of rider.

WIP Foil Fix M8

4x M8 stainless threaded rods are pre-mounted on the board using existing T-nuts, gently pushing on the bottom of the foil box, maintaining the desired position of the foil on the board.

Then all you have to do is place the foil on 4 rods and hold it in place by screwing on the Foil Fix nuts by hand. You can then go and foil 20 seconds later! The shape of the nuts are designed with low drag in mind.

An extra small tool is supplied to apply more tension if needed, or to facilitate the unscrewing of the nuts after your session.

This lightweight waist belt with sliding harness attachment points for both your board leash and your wing leash is adjustable for all waist sizes. A high-quality nylon webbing wing leash (for wing use only) is included with the waist belt for easy-grip and fast wing retrieval. Good elasticity in the webbing and bungy-cord core provides greater forgiveness and helps to soften the jolt when your wing escapes.

Please note: the Wing Leash supplied with this waist belt is designed to secure your Nova Wing. To secure your board, we recommend you connect the North Quick Release Board Leash (sold separately) to the second attachment loop on the waist belt.
